Biography
Born within the stone walls of crimson and gold of Silvermoon City. Thylissa and her twin sister Tanaaria were born into a life of luxury, that this wealthy kingdom of elves provided all their inhabitants. Her parents both highly respected, as her father was a Paladin and her mother a priest. Both paths putting the family in a good ‘light’ in the eyes of their peers.

Aspiring to be like her father, Thylissa would often steal away to the Blood Knight’s enclave in Farstrider Square, watching as the squires would study the light, and practice within the square’s training grounds, alongside their Farstrider compatriots.

Overjoyed and proud of her aspirations, her father surprised her upon her thirteenth birthday. A gift, her first sword. To which he placed a hand upon her head, and asked her if she wished to become a squire and grow up to be a paladin one day. He was nearly knocked over by the hug she gave him in response.

Determined, hard working, giving her all despite the rigorous training new recruits were put through. Thylissa never shied away from the challenge, and never had any doubt in her mind that this was the path she wanted to take, this determination of hers being an inspiration to the other young recruits around her, for the years to come.

These days of happiness in her youth, would be short lived however. Death had come to the doorstep of Quel’thalas, and a betrayal from within destroyed their defenses, The elf gates. The Scourge walked upon Silvermoon, the fallen prince of Lordaeron, Arthas Menethil leading their march of carnage towards the Sunwell. Cutting down all in his path.

It was within this hour of darkness, that Thylissa and her sister; Tanaaria, were rushed into hiding, a hidden room within their home. Her parents protecting their children as the scourge swept through the city, hordes upon hordes of the damned attacking all in their path as they continued north. Thylissa forcing her sister to stay hidden, despite Tanaaria’s protests and desire to help their parents fight.

It was after many hours of silence… the absence of the slash of their father’s blade, and the crash of their mother’s holy fire. That they were found, a bloodied and worn city guard… whom had checked their home in the aftermath of the carnage, looking for survivors. To find them hidden away, and their parents dead before them. Having fallen to the scourge, slaying as many as they could in their final moments. The guard led them from the closet, granting them a moment to grieve… before leading them away to join the other survivors.

This moment, would haunt Thylissa for many years to come. In time, turning and twisting into a desire. To take revenge upon the scourge for the devastation of Quel’thalas, and the death’s of her parents, a path that would lead her to join the Argent Dawn. Tanaaria right by her sister’s side forevermore. In the formation of the Argent Crusade, and the campaign upon Northrend, to defeat Arthas, once and for all, Thylissa found her moment for justice at last.

In the years that followed the fall of the Lich King, Thylissa and Tanaaria remained with the Argent Crusade. Threats loomed over Azeroth year after year… each one greater than the next. It was during the invasion of the Burning Legion. That Thylissa found herself looking to the leadership of Lady Liadrin of Silvermoon, and in it’s aftermath, followed her back to the home she left long ago.
